Our lacrosse club is made up of Mason students that love to play lacrosse. This club provides a good balance between sports and academics for Mason students. Our goal this year is to win the Conference Championship and advance to the National Playoffs. With a strong group of returners and a promising incoming freshmen class, our odds look better than ever for achieving our goal.

In 2019, we made it to the Chesapeake Conference Championship after defeating Catholic University in OT during the semifinals. We fell to UMBC in the championship, but this was a huge step for the club since we have not played in the championship game in over five years. We look forward to playing UMBC in the upcoming regular season and avenging our loss against them.

Covid-19 ended the 2020 spring season after only playing a few games. We look forward to return to field and competing for a conference championship.

We are always open to new players joining the club in the Fall or Spring. If you have 9 years of lacrosse experience or recently started playing, we would be happy to have you join the club. There are many benefits to playing for our club. Since the club is player-run, we design the club around everyone's work and class schedules. Playing for Mason gives us pride because we represent Mason wherever we go. Also, lifelong friendships are made through the club. Involvement in a club is vital to the college experience, learning how to work as team, and gaining leadership skills.

If you attend NOVA and would like to play for Mason in the spring, check out the NOVA ADVANCE program, which allows you to attend NOVA and Mason at the same time. We would be glad to have NOVA players join our club.
